sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was born on July 6, 1946, as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. He is the son of Francesco Stallone Jr. (a hairdresser) and Jackie Stallone (astrologer, and dancer). Frank Stallone Sr, his younger brother is an actor musician, and hairdresser. Sylvester was left paralysed on the lower left of his face because of complications that occurred during birth. He has now got his signature "snarling" expression as well as a slight slurred voice. Stallone has spent a portion of his childhood in foster care because of his parents' volatile relationship. The couple separated later. Stallone was a drama student at American College in Switzerland, before moving to the University of Miami. He left school before finishing his studies and moved to New York City to pursue acting as a profession.
